Many have been asking about the trees coming down in Hamilton Park.  The HPNA had a tree survey done by tree expert John Linson.  He has 38 years of experience in the field.  He recommended the removal of several trees and the Jersey City Department of Parks and Forestry is deciding what to remove based on the survey.  John also recommended what should be re-planted this spring. He pointed out that new trees should be watered 3 times a week for the first 2 years.  The HPNA is always looking for volunteers so if the re-planting of these trees is your passion we would love to have you involved.  Please reach out to us.
