The Hudson River Waterfront Conservancy(HRWC) is pleased to announce the 2017 schedule of guided Walk the Walkway walks along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway from Bayonne to Fort Lee. Each walk is about 2.5 miles and occurs between 9:00 and noon one Sunday each month (except August) in the spring and summer.
As happens each year, additional sections of the 18.5 mile Waterfront Walkway are completed and the HRWC is happy to annouce several new sections this year. These include most of the Walkway at Edgewater Harbor, also know as I-Park, Veteran's Park in Edgewater, and a small section of Walkway at MOTBY in Bayonne.
In addition, after being closed and under water for over a decade, the Walkway at Roc Harbor Condominiums in North Bergen is being rebuilt and should be completed and open to the public this spring.
As in previous years, the first Walk the Walkway event will be held in Bayonne primarily at the Bayonne Golf Club. We will also visit the sections of the Walkway at MOTBY on this walk.
